Founded in 1986 by Koelsum Ryklief as a home-based catering business, we grew organically by providing the highest quality food and service to a select number of customers. Marketing was entirely by “word of mouth” and gradually our business expanded into the corporate market.
In 2003, we formalised the business and K-line Corporate & Executive Catering was formed. As a result of consistent growth, we moved into dedicated premises and Adilah Samie joined as a partner in 2006.
Our premises have been certified by the City of Cape Town’s Department of Health. Our kitchen is fully Halaal and we are certified by the Islamic Council of South Africa (ICSA). Our business is 100% black women owned.

To become the leading food services provider in the Western Cape by building excellent long term relationships with our customers through providing consistent high quality service, by building a great team and growing our business by creatively and actively developing our people expanding our product range and markets having fun and celebrating our successes.
